Village Clerk

The Village Clerk/Treasurer for the Village of Readstown serves as the official record keeper and chief financial officer of the Village. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records of Village Board meetings, ordinances, resolutions, and official documents, as well as overseeing elections and administering oaths as required by Wisconsin law.

As Treasurer, the Clerk/Treasurer manages the Village’s finances, including receiving and disbursing funds, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, managing utility billing, collecting property taxes, and ensuring compliance with state reporting requirements. The Clerk/Treasurer works closely with the Village Board, staff, and residents to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient municipal operations.
