When is City Hall open?

The Village Office is open from 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.  There are exceptions to this when the Clerk/Treasurer attends out of the village meetings, conferences or educational classes.  Notices are posted on the window at the office.

How much is a dog license?

Dog licenses are $3.00 for spayed or neutered animals or $8.00 for all others five months of age or older.  A rabies certificate is required for licensing new dogs, and if your dog is being re-licensed an updated certificate may be required.  Licensing your dog is an ANNUAL requirement by the State of Wisconsin and must be done by April 1st of each year.  A late fee of $5 per animal is charged after April 1st.

Where can I pay my taxes?

Taxes are collected at the Village Office from mid-December until January 31st each year.  Payments made after January 31st must be done at the Vernon County Treasurer's office located at 400 Court House Square St, Viroqua, WI 54665.  Second installment payments are also made at the County Treasurer's office and are due by July 31st.
