Inventory of Service Lines
Water Service Line Inventory
The Village of Readstown has completed an inventory of water service line materials throughout the water system as required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) under the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR).
A service line is the pipe that carries drinking water from the Village's water main to a home, business, or other building. The inventory identifies the known or suspected material of both the public and private portions of each service line.
The purpose of this inventory is to help identify and eliminate lead service lines, reduce potential exposure to lead in drinking water, and provide transparency to residents regarding the materials serving their property.
The Village's service line inventory is available for public review and can be accessed below.

Please note that some service line materials may be listed as "Unknown." The Village will continue to update the inventory as additional information becomes available through inspections, utility work, property owner reports, and future investigations.
Residents who have questions regarding their service line material or who would like additional information about lead in drinking water are encouraged to contact the Village Office.
Additional information regarding lead in drinking water and the Lead and Copper Rule can be found on the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources website and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency website.
